What you will learn in this course:
- Anatomy: Explanation of the key features of nail structure
- Diseases and Disorders: Identification and understanding of skin and nail conditions
- Health & Safety: Guidelines to ensure service safety for clients and practitioners
- Salon set up: Requirements for starting a business, including legalities and council regulations
- Client Consultation: Techniques for effective communication with clients
- Products and equipment: Understanding use and maintenance of your tools and products
- Natural Nail preparation: Shaping to prepare for tip or form application and safe cuticle work
- Application of tips: attaching, blending, sizing and shaping
- Shaping: Master basic nail shapes including square, round, almond, salon stiletto, coffin and ballerina nail shapes
- Nail Prep: Disinfect and clean the nail plate for safe, lasting adhesion.
- Primers: Understand their application and determine the appropriate use for different situations.
Kit
You will need to bring your own tools. If you require a kit, a kit list will be sent to you on sign up, so you can pruchase this off the Brillbird website directly before your course date.
